Acupuncture
A medicine that is almost magical in its ability to treat pain of all kinds. Acupuncture involves the use of needles to stimulate both the meridians and the muscles of the body to treat a variety of conditions. David only uses sterile, single-use needles which are as thin as a human hair.
Tui Na
Literally meaning "push, grasp," tui na is a form of Chinese Medical Massage that is both diagnostic for the practitioner and therapeutic for the patient. As a method of mobilizing the muscles, joints, and bones to relieve pain and dysfunction, tui na is a natural companion to acupuncture. While many forms exist, David specifically practices Zheng Gu Tui Na.
Herbs
An internal medicine usually taken as a tea, with a marked benefit for a variety of complaints. Gastrointestinal, gynecological, and pain conditions are often especially improved through the use of herbs. David utilizes both Kanpo – a system using small-dose, very safe, highly effective formulas – and Traditional Chinese topical herbs.
